Natural belly slimming detox water recipe

A body detox recipe is made to clean all the toxins inside you, since in most human beings these harmful toxins build up in your system faster than your organs can manage. Most recipes like this use a generous amount of whole grains and vegetables and less or even none of the fats, refined flour, and sugar that most everyday foods contain.

To help you start getting rid of those toxins, here are 3 nutritious concoctions you can easily make at home. Using fruits and vegetables you can get from the grocery, you can make a refreshing drink, a light soup, and a veggie roll in your kitchen. Any of these detox diet recipes yield a dish or a drink that you can consume any time of the day.

Fruity Veggie Detox Drink

1. To make this drink, a juicer or a blender will do.

2. Toss the following fruits and vegetables in the juicer or blender:

  • 3 small apples, diced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • A handful of spinach
  • A handful of berries
3. Add a small piece of peeled ginger root, 1/2 cup of distilled or purified water, and some ice cubes. You can also add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon for flavor.

4. Blend all these ingredients until smooth.

5. This is ideal for a filling snack.

Daikon-Shiitake Consomme

1. You can also serve this as a starter during your regular meals, and not just during your detoxifying diet days. This is a light soup with the trendy Asian flavor that many people like.

2. Put 1 small onion (chopped) in about 800 ml of water in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil using medium heat.

3. Add thin slices of daikon (radish), pieces of shiitake mushrooms, cabbage leaves, and lemon zest.

4. Cover the saucepan, reduce the heat to low, and let it cook for about 7 minutes.

5. Season with light soy sauce and let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes more.

6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley to garnish.

7. When making this as part of a purely detoxifying meal plan, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chile to further promote circulation and cleansing.

8. But if you’ll add this to your regular meal, you can make it more filling with cooked brown rice or tofu.

Salad Rolls

1.  Instead of the usual salads, here’s a vegetable roll that you’d want to make even after your cleansing period.

2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Separately blanch each of the following vegetables in this pot:

  • Carrots (cut into spears) for 1 minute
  • Cabbage and collard leaves for 30 seconds
  • Watercress for 10 seconds
3. Plunge them all in ice-cold water to instantly stop the cooking process. Drain them very well using a strainer or salad spinner.

4. To assemble each roll, use a sushi mat or a towel. Place 2 collard leaves on the mat or towel.

5. Top the collards with 2 cabbage leaves. Then neatly place watercress and carrots on top. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and lemon zest.

6. Roll the whole thing. Seal it when you reach the end by squeezing it gently.

7. Slice the roll to make 1 inch-thick rounds. Place it in a platter.

8. To make the dip, whisk together 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

9. Serve the rolls in a platter together with the dip.
